Community Announcement: Film about Education & Creativity

Tomorrow night Wednesday 17th February is Suburban Sandcastles’ next film screening. The film is 'Most Likely to Succeed’, and it's all about the need for creativity and innovation in education, and how the current system is failing our children. (That’s conventional ‘speak’! We know that there is no such thing as true dysfunction, right? It all serves in the end, in having us develop the responses and solutions that will support our evolution.)

'Most Likely to Succeed’ features interviews with education visionaries such as Ken Robinson and Sal Khan of Khan Academy. See more, including the trailer at the website

To book into this event, go to:

(Usually about 60 people attend - great vibe - great exhibitor stands -  interesting discussion after the film - yummy wholesome food available prior.)

Writing News - Enid Blyton & Corporate Trainings

My various writing courses are taking off again:

• Just ran a 'Business Writing That Works' corporate training for Shepparton Council on behalf of The Success Institute and have another program in the loop. (Grammar, punctuation, effective writing styles and more.) For more info This email address is being protected from spambots. • My Writing Mastery Beginner courses are taking off again this March/April via CAE in Box Hill and Lilydale, and in May in the CBD.

• My continuing course is underway – sixth term together! – and an anthology is mooted...

• I have a new kids' writing class where I'm having fun with four creative 10-12 year olds. A couple of them have been greatly influenced by Enid Blyton so we are drawing their stories out of the clichés of cottages and picnics made by 'Mother' and into their real world where kids make their own vegemite sandwiches and Mum is wary about letting them head off into the great unknown. Mind you, stick around for long enough and these stories will go into true, uncharted territory! I can see it coming...

Mastery Club Graduate Forms a Lunchtime Mastery Club at School!

I was delighted to revisit Warranwood Primary School a few weeks ago, where Sam, a graduate of the Mastery Club 10 Lessons Program I ran there a few months ago, has started up her own Club. She invited a few of the students who hadn’t experienced the program and then began teaching it to them and encouraging them to set their own goals. Go, Sam!

Teacher Mia Sartori has reinforced the value she gained in this message to parents:

'When Liliane ran her program ‘The Mastery Club’ at Warranwood and Croydon Hills Primary Schools throughout this year I knew it would very beneficial for the children but did not realise the impact it would have on me! Liliane has changed the way I look at life and I have become more optimistic and resilient. I have continued to use several of her positive messages in my ongoing work with children. Liliane’s program The Mastery Club is a journey I recommend for any adult who wants to have a more positive and fulfilling life. The key to ensuring our children’s resilience and positive approach to life is ensuring we have it ourselves.'

Much Loved Book As Compulsory Reading :-)

'I loved the 'Mastery Club' . I loved the easy read and simple steps to manifesting. It came (of course) at the right time, as Rosemary Mc Callum had set us some masterclass homework, and going through manifesting steps was just what was needed. I am pretty new to this metaphysics, and your book was just perfect and easy for me to understand. I am going to use it as s bit of a guide for looking at how to create a life that I want and love.’ - Sonia Blakey

'I’ve been re-reading your book in preparation for our interview on Tuesday. I love your book so much, I just love the analogies you use to simplify and communicate universal principals. It should be compulsory reading in every school. I honestly believe this.' - Jen Richards of Rumbles Paleo (cookies and children’s books)

- Thanks, ladies! May it be so.

The Mastery Club Tip of the Month

"If you tell somebody stories about high achievement just before they perform some test or exercise, they will perform better than if you had not told them those stories. If you merely use the words, 'succeed', 'master', and 'achieve' in a sentence, they will do better."

- David Brooks, The Social Animal – A Story of How Success Happens
